The New Acropolis Museum

As I travel through Greece, I find endless things to be inspired by…and the Acropolis is one of my favorite places to visit for inspiration.

I've just had the pleasure of visiting the New Acropolis Museum which is truly magnificent & a must see if you visit Athens.  Admission is only 1 Euro through December 2009!

There's quite an interesting story about the museum and why it was so important that it become a truly magnificent museum — it all has to do with the Elgin Marbles that Greece is waiting to have returned to them from the British museum.  I recommend you read the piece Eleni Gage wrote just a few weeks ago on the Huffington Post Blog about the museum.  She really captures the whole story best, so please check it out when you have a moment on the link below:
