Are you ever so busy talking you forget that someone else is there who may want to speak too?  

Always be mindful of the (im)balance that may exist in your exchanges.  If you're doing all the talking all the time, you never get to hear anything at all.  Give someone else a chance to jump in now & then by  pausing & asking "What do you think?"  

Take a breath & make it a two-way conversation.
