Be Aware…

When we have a lot going on in our heads, we tend to let our thoughts run around in circles to the point of exhaustion.  And at some point, we realize we are exhausted both mentally & physically because of it.

The best way to pull it all together & find a place to begin to move forward from the chaos of busy thoughts is to bring yourself to the present.

Try this Exercise: Just sit down & close your eyes for a few minutes and observe all your senses.  Feel your body in the chair, your clothes on your skin, the air on your face.  Taste, smell, hear.  And that's it.  Just rest here & be present & aware.
