How to Disappoint…

dis·ap·point·ment

noun – the feeling of sadness or displeasure caused by the nonfulfillment of one's hopes or expectations;   a person, event, or thing that causes disappointment.

We have all been disappointed by someone or by something, or even been disappointed in ourselves at times too.  And we've certainly managed to be the ones who've disappointed others too.

Sometimes the displeasure we feel about a certain someone or a situation is very clear, because our expectations had been known.  Other times, it may not be as obvious.

Whatever the case, it's important that you don't let disappointment rule your thoughts for too long.  Remember that we're all human, doing the best we can, with what we have at that moment.  Getting caught up in disappointment hurts no one but you.  Acknowledge it, address it if appropriate, and then move on!
