Misery Loves Company…

I was watching a clip of Joel Osteen's sermon last night and was struck by this one quote "Problems are inevitable, but misery is optional."

Stuff will happen EveryDay & we can't control it.  How we choose to act & react to circumstances though is an option.  The interesting thing is that most of us probably go through life not realizing that we have options.  Instead we've convinced ourselves that we are victims to our emotions, moods, & situations and continue playing that game – a very convenient game in which we don't have to do any work & have a free pass to be miserable.

Remember that you do have a choice.  It's like flipping the channel.  If you don't like what you see, know that you can change the channel.  Misery is Optional.
