Pennies seem so useless today, don't they?  There are always too many of them floating around in your pockets for no apparent reason.  And then, of course, when you really need one, they're absolutely nowhere to be found! 

Well, NYMuse recommends you try putting your pennies to good use.  Next time you buy yourself a bunch of fresh-cut tulips, whip out those useless pennies! 

GOOD IDEA:  Drop two or three pennies into the water vase before adding the tulips. The copper in the pennies help keep the stems strong, and so they'll stand happy & tall!  Penny-less: the tulips will droop quickly & look quite sad 🙁
